Overnight Oats with Chia Seeds

Today I tried a different breakfast
I followed a recipe I found on Pinterest (yes another idea from Pintrest)

The mix came out a little sloppier than I was expecting, but overall the taste was pretty good. I will reduce the milk portion in my next batch. The chia seeds did what was expected, which was to swell, soften and absorb the other flavours. I actually didn't notice them at all. 

I was keen to try out chia seeds, a nutritional marvel that will hopefully add a myriad of health benefits to my diet.
Some of these benefits are:
High in protein
High in omega 3 fatty acids
Helps balance blood sugar
