After the visitors left, Fern was well overdue for a sleep, so while she had her nap Coral and I embarked on a craft project, making spider webs out of wool and twigs from the garden. We even made the spiders and a few unfortunate trapped insects ourselves out of cardboard from the recycling box and glued on googly eyes, they look awesome. After that we had a few snacks and then went outside to cut some wildflowers which have taken over our backyard. We now have a pretty, colourful arrangment for the dining table. It has truly been a fun day, best of the hols so far!
